Ghanaian musician and reggae star Blakk Rasta has dropped the first tribute song in honour of Nigerian reggae legend ras kimono who passed on recently. Blakk Rasta who also doubles as an On Air Personality OAP on Ghanaian radio station Zylofon 102 FM has had a close association with the late artist whom he adopted as father as far back as 1992.
He had featured Ras Kimono in several concerts in his native country and had also had course to visit Nigeria a couple of times on kimono’s invitation
The award winning Ghanaian artist also produced and recorded the song adopted by the Democratic Party and used during former US president Obama’s first term campaign bid The song is titled ‘Bye Bye Kimono’ by Blakk Rasta
