A former Bayelsa state governor, Chief Timipre Sylva, has described Governor Seriake Dickson as a sick person for linking him and the Minister of State for Agriculture and Rural Development, Senator Heineken Lokpobiri,to the criminality going on under his watch.
In a statement issued by Sylva media adviser, Dofie Buokoribo said Dickson does not have facts to support his claims
” As always, Dickson has provided zero facts to support his irresponsibly frivolous claims that Sylva and Lokpobiri are providing cover for alleged cultists and other criminals
“Dickson lied at his Thursdayâs âTransparencyâ Briefing in Yenagoa.
“Sylvaâs Media Office recalls that we have had cause in the past to accuse Governor Dickson of paranoia. Our response to this latest falsehood, especially the governorâs attempt to link Sylva with the outlaw that killed five soldiers in Ekeremor Local Government, is that Dickson needs urgent help. He is sick.
“No amount of falsehood against Sylva will pay workersâ salaries in Bayelsa State. No amount of falsehood against Sylva will cover Dicksonâs incompetence and cluelessness. No amount of falsehood against Sylva will protect lives and property in Bayelsa State, where Governor Dickson has elevated the ignoble act of arming and using lawless elements to intimidate the people to win elections to state policy, as the whole world saw in the last governorship polls in the state. And no amount of falsehood against Sylva will cleanse the blood of innocent Bayelsans on Dicksonâs hands before God or erase the history of political violence institutionalised by Dickson before men.
