Pilot Science Appoints Industry Expert To Head Abuja Office

In a bid to improve on its quality of service across the nation, Pilot Science Company Limited (PSCL), a telecommunications support, engineering and building services company in Nigeria, has restructured its management with the appointment of former Elektrint Nigeria Limited Design Engineer, Olanrewaju Orekitan Ishola as Regional Head (Project/Business Development) at its head office in Abuja, among others.

Engr. Festus Akinpelu, MD/CEO, PSCL, who confirmed the development in a statement in the company’s regional office in Lagos recently, explained that with the new restructuring, the company aims to boost productivity and enhance delivery of quality services to its existing and prospective loyal customers across the nation.

“We at Pilot Science are not resting on our oars, despite the landmarks that we have recorded so far in our industries of operation, but we aim to offer our clients the best of services like never before, with the many new developments around us”, Akinpelu said.
While speaking on his roadmap for the company’s growth, Engr. Ishola noted that before now, PSCL had done a fragment of works on the same project (Data Centres) in which his former company was a major M & E Contractor, among others.
In continuity of the company’s corporate landmarks, he assured that his team will compete with, and strive to overtake in reputation other prominent companies that operate in similar field.

He said, “As a Registered Electrical Engineer with proven skills and accomplishment, I will put in the best of my expertise as the Regional Head to ensure that our projects are carried out in accordance with best engineering practice, company policy and international standard in a bid to satisfying our clients and to delivering within stipulated time frame.
“We will also re-strategize for quality service delivery in our other engineering services, which include mechanical and electrical building services.

“In Abuja here, estates are springing up on quarterly basis, which we can take advantage of to establish our feet in M & E Building Services in addition to our services.

“As the Regional Head of Business Development, I will ensure the gospel of Pilot Science goes across the Northern Region, bringing about employment and springing up all over the Region.”

With his about a decade experience as Project and Design Engineer and Consultant with a number of reputable organizations, Ishola, has overseen prominent electrical installations and building construction public and private sector projects such as remodeling of the Niger Delta Power Holding Company, Abuja; electrical design at the Imo State Government Multi-purpose hall and the Central Bank of Nigeria building in Gombe state, among others.

Also speaking on measures put in place to boost the company’s commercial activities, Halimat Badamasi, Commercial Officer, PSCL, said the company is doing its best in ensuring customer satisfaction, with strong adherence to standards.

She said, “We also do a proper follow up on our products and ensure they meet the desired expectations of our clients, hence an opportunity to building a strong client base with our existing customers. Our previous works which are of high quality and standards are also good selling point for us as they bring in referrals and recommendations to new clients. Hence, we try to build a wonderful relationship with our existing clients who open up a link to new clients in the industry.”
“There are quite a number of credible competitors in the Industry, but there are lots of factors which put us ahead of the industry. These are our trade secrets.

‘However, generally speaking we can liking it to our passion for standards and quality, which has made us employed the ISO 9001 2015 quality management system to enhance the quality of our services.”

Oladokun Olakanla, the company’s Technical Sales Development Officer, who acknowledged that the business terrain is vast and competitive, however noted that PSCL has put measures in place in its operation to keep maintaining its core values, which include integrity and cost-effectiveness.

“We do not compromise quality for cost, and we have built synergy with our existing customers,” he said.
In her words, Olamide Eko, Client Relationship Officer of the company, said, “Considering the present economic situation, clients have become very skeptical and choosy about whom they deal with.
