Unknown Gunmen Killed A Former PDP Local Gov’t Chairman In Ondo State

A former PDP Caretaker  chairman was today killed by an unknown gunmen in Okitipupa Local Government Area of Ondo State, Niyi Pirisola. He was killed in the early hours of today (Friday) at about 3:00 am while returning from a branch of Celestial Church Of Christ at Ilutuntun in his hometown.

A police officer  in the area confirmed the recent development, “Yes,  he was assassinated by yet to be identified gunmen and his body has been deposited at the Okitipupa General Hospital.

“We (Police) have begun our investigation into the murder case by interrogating members of his family, ” the officer said.
