Pastor Tunde Bakare, general overseer of the Latter Rain Assembly on Friday told Nigerians to be patient with the administration n of President Muhammed Buhari, saying that pain comes with gain.
Bakare who was addressing newsmen shortly after meeting with President Buhari in Abuja said he was happy that the president is doing well health wise.
In answering questions on the performance of the administration, he said the it is too early to call.
“Pain is part of gain. No without gain. Yes of wastage and all that we have done wrong had finally caught up with us.
“All we are praying for is wisdom for this government to do the right things so that gradually we can begin to come out of the woods.
“It is too quick and too soon to begin to judge. If there is anything I know about the President, he has a good heart and loves this country. He wants this country to run well,” he said, assuring Nigerians that President Buhari will not disappoint them.
Pastor Bakare was the running mate to President Muhammed Buhari in the 1011 presidential election won by Dr. Goodluck Jonathan.
