Former president of FIFA, Joao Havelenge is dead, aged 100 years
Havelange, a Brazilian served as the seventh FIFA president between 1974-1998 died in Rio, Brazil
He was the second longest serving FIFA’s president and immediate predecessor to Joseph Sepp Blatter.
He was a member of the International Olympics Committee(IOC) from 1963 to 2011 before resigning due to his ill health.
Havelange was born on May 8, 1916.
