NEMA Warns Kaduna Residents Of Imminent Floods

floodsThe North East zonal coordinator of National Emergency Management Agency(NEMA) has warned residents of Kaduna of impending flood.

Speaking during an interview on Channels Television, the zonal coordinator of the agency, Musa Ilalah, said the communities living very close to the river banks have been alerted and asked to leave before the floods come.

Ilalah said the agency has taken all proactive measures to mitigate any flood disaster that may likely occur, warning residents to stop the indiscriminate dumping of refuse inside the gutters.
