WAEC Releases May/June 2016 Results, Over 50% Passed

WAECThe West African Examination Council(WAEC) has released the result of the Senior Secondary School Examination(SSCE), withholding 137, 295 candidates, representing 8.89 per cent.

Announcing the results at a press briefing in Lagos, Olu Adenipekun, head of the Nigeria national office of West African Examination Council (WAEC), said a total of 878, 040 candidates representing 52.97% obtained credits in both Mathematics and English.

Adenipekun said ‎674, 718‎ candidates representing 47.03% failed to obtain five credits including mathematics and English
