President Muhammad Buhari has sacked the registrar of the Joint Admissions Matriculation Board(JAMB() Prof. Dibu Ojerinde and replaced with from Vice Chancellor of University of Ilorin, Ishaq Oloyede.
Ojerinde removal may not be unconnected with the withdrawal of 2016 admission list into universities and other tertiary institutions.
Bem Goong , deputy director of press at the ministry of education, said 16 other chief executive officers of parastatals and agencies under the ministry of education had also been replaced..

Lanre Aina, National Library of Nigeria.

Abba Haladu, National Commission For Mass Literacy, Adult And Non-Formal Education
Bashir Usman, Nomadic Education Commission
Ifeoma Isiugo-Abanihe, National Business and Technical Examination Board
Sunday Ajiboye, Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria
Afolabi Aderinto, Computer Registration Council of Nigeria
Bappah Aliyu, National Commission For Colleges of Education
Abdullahi Baffa, Tertiary Education Tax Fund.
Garba Azare, National Teachers Institute
Michael Afolabi, Librarian Registration Council of Nigeria

According to the ministry, the appointments were with immediate effects, adding that the new chief executives are expected at the office of the minister of education on Tuesday.
