William-Troost-EkongHaugesund  captain William Troost-Ekong has expressed his  delight at  his recall to the Super Eagles, AfricanFootball.com reports.

Troost-Ekong is one of the 26 players invited by Nigeria caretaker coach Salisu Yusuf for the friendly matches against Mali and Luxembourg next month.

“Very happy to be called up again for Nigeria. Hard work pays off,”  he  tweeted.

The older brother of Flying Eagles skipper Kelechi Nwakali lasted for 82 minutes when he left the pitch for another Nigerian  Austin Uzoremeke.
