Former PDP Chairman, Haliru Bello Detained Over N600m Fraud

BelloThe former National Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party(PDP), Haliru Bello has been detained at the Federal High Court in Abuja over allegations of receiving the sum of six hundred million from the office of the National Security Adviser(ONSA).

Bello, who is facing a four count charges by Economic and Financial Crimes Commission(EFCC) arrived the court in a wheel chair with a walking stick and muslim praying rosary

Bello who is also standing trialalongside his son, Abba Haliru Bello and BAM projects and Properties on a four count corruption charge of receiving the N600m meant for purchase of arms from former National Security Adviser, Col. Sambo Dasuki.
