NiMet Predicts Dust, Hazy Weather Conditions For Friday

NimetThe Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has predicted dust haze weather conditions over the central states of the country on Friday.

The predictions are contained in the Weather Outlook issued by NiMet’s Central Forecast Office (CFO) on Thursday in Abuja.
It said that there would be visibility range of 1-3 kilometres and localised visibility of less than or equal to 1000 metres over the central region during the forecast period.
NiMet predicted that the coastal areas would experience dust haze conditions with localised visibility range of 2-5 kilometres conditions in the afternoon.

It also predicted that inland areas would experience dust haze conditions with localised visibility range of 2-5 kilometre throughout the forecast period.

It predicted that Northern states would experience dust haze with visibility range of 1-3 kilometre and localised visibility of less than or equal to 1000 metres.
