Special Adviser to Rivers state Governor, Nyesome Wike on Media and Publicity, Opunabo Inko-Tariah, , has resigned from his five month old appointment.
Tariah who tendered his resignation on Friday to the governor said the unfolding developments in the state shows his service is no longer needed
“With unfolding developments, it is irrefutable that my services are no longer needed,’’ the letter read, He thanked the governor for giving him the opportunity to serve him and the state. Tariah wished the governor God’s guidance and blessings “as I exit your government”.
This is a major drawback for the governor whose victory was nullified two weeks ago by the election petition tribunal.
