The appeal court has adjourned the case between Senate President, Bukola Saraki and Code Of Conduct Tribunal(CCT) Indefinitely. The court registrar who announced the decision to the lawyers and members of the press present at the court did not give reason to why it was adjourned.
In September , Saraki had approached the court seeking to stop his trial for alleged false asset declaration at the CCT.
Before going to the appeal court, Saraki had gone to the high court to challenge his trial at the CCT, but the judge, Ahmed Mohammed handling the case withdrew from it on September 30, citing crisis of confidence
The court had promised last Friday to give the judgement but adjourned indefinitely.
