Buhari-official.jpg.pagespeed.ce.cn_afg39meA member of the House of Representatives, Mohammed Gudaji, presentating Kazaure federal constituency, has reminded President Muhammadu Buhari of his campaign promise of providing free education to all when elected as Nigeria’s leader.

Gudaji, who made the reminder while speaking with journalists in Dutse, noted that it had become imperative as one the federal legislators and a card-carrying member of the ruling APC to alert the President to urgently fulfill the promise he made to Nigerians during the election campaigns.

“As you might be aware, things will be too much on our President as such he may likely forget with this vital promise he made of providing free education if voted into power.

“There is urgent need to alert him so that parents will stop taking their children to private schools and end up paying exorbitant amount as school fees of their wards,” the lawmaker said.

He lamented that proprietors of private schools charge high school fees of children, adding that some of the schools were yet to provide the required education for children.

He opined that, with the introduction of free education to all the children, parents would get relief and better education.

While also stressing the need for Nigerians to continue exercising patience as the voted change will come to reality soonest, Gudaji stated that change would not come overnight as suffering and untold hardship must come first before any enjoyment.

He explained that leadership of the National Assembly under Dogara is good representations worthy of emulation, noting that the speaker was a well respected politician as he carried every body along irrespective of political, religious and cultural affiliations.
