Kidnapped Donu Kogbara, Vanguard Columnist Released

Vanguard newspaper columnist Donu Kogbara has been freed in Port Harcourt by her kidnappers early Saturday morning.

DSP Ahmed Muhammad, the state Police Public Relations Officer, confirmed her release saying the state commissioner of police has visited her in her home.

The circumstances of her release are yet to be known, including whether or not any ransom was paid.
Donu was kidnapped from her Nkpogu residence in the early hours of Sunday.
