APC 2nd Anniversary: Why We’ll Roll Out The Celebration Drums

 
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has said that it has every reason to celebrate its existence as a political party because of its numerous achievements within just two years of its formation.

Senator Osita Izunaso, APC National Organising Secretary and Chairman of the Anniversary Committee said in a chat with journalists in Abuja the party has decided to roll out the drums in August 2015 to celebrate the second anniversary of its registration as a political party by the INEC.

Izunaso added that it was unprecedented that within just two years of APC’s registration as a party, it has 22 governors, controlling the two chambers of the National Assembly and also have President Muhammadu Buhari as the Number One citizen of the country.

He said: “It is unprecedented that within two years of being registered as a party, we have won the general election; it is unprecedented that within two years of being registered as a party, we have 22 governors elected on the platform of the party; it is also unprecedented that within two years of our registration, we are controlling the two chambers of the National Assembly.”
