PDP Endorses Akpabio As Senate Minority Leader

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Southern Senators on Monday jettisoned ranking in the Senate Standing Orders 2015 to endorse Senator Godswill Akpabio as the Senate Minority Leader.

There was no word yet about the support for Akpabio or a different choice of the Northern Senators at the time of going to press.
Akpabio is the immediate-past governor of Akwa Ibom State and Senator representing Akwa Ibom North West.
The Senators resume plenary on Tuesday.
