Donate Blood Urgently For Zaria Bomb Victims – NEMA Appeals To Kaduna Residents

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) Tuesday appealed to public-spirited individuals, especially those resident in Kaduna State, to donate blood for the treatment of the Zaria bomb victims at the Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital (ABUTH), Shika.

Alhaji Muhammad Sani Sidi, Director General of NEMA, made the appeal in a statement by the agency’s Press Officer, Mr. Manzo Ezekiel.

He said there was need for urgent donation of blood to help the survivors, some of whom are in critical condition, having lost so much blood as a result of the injuries sustained in the blast.

Sidi commended the quick response in the evacuating victims of the blast and assured immediate support of NEMA in the deployment of medical consumables and drugs for their treatment in the hospital.
