Train runs into bus in Lagos

A train in motion has rammed into a bus at Oshodi, Lagos.

The accident which occurred around 8:15 a.m. claimed a life while others were injured.

It was learnt that the bus was stuck on the rail track when the moving train ran into it.

The Lagos State Transport Management Agency (LASTMA) and the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) promptly arrived at the scene of the accident.

A LASTMAN official tweeted, “A train ran into a Volkswagen T4 bus at the ARENA crossing, pushing it to Oshodi U-bridge. Onlookers causing more harm than good. Men on ground, Necessary Agencies @lasambus @followlasema.”
