Former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Dr Obadiah Mailafia has again been by the Department of State Security (DSS).
As of the time of this report he was said to be at the security agency’s office in Jos, Plateau State.
His lawyer, Bawa Ba said the invitation “was a buildup to the previous one, it is a process with security agents. It is normal for further discussion.”
He added that the fresh invitation was nothing new but meant to be interactive. The former deputy governor of the CBN had been invited last week over an interview he granted a radio station where he alleged a Northern Governor was Commander of Boko Haram insurgents.
