Police Seal APC National Secretariat, Abuja

A detachment of Policemen has sealed off the National Secretariat of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

The policemen are acting on the instructions of the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu.

The order, which was handed down through the FCT Commissioner of Police, to the APC Chief Security Officer, instructed that members of the National Working Committee (NWC) are not allowed entrance to the party headquarters.

The IG is scheduled to meet the APC leaders at 1 p.m.

There is a crisis going on in the ruling party at the moment with the suspension of the National Chairman of the party, Adams Oshiomhole.

Victor Giadom has declared himself as party Chairman afterwards despite the decision of the NWC of the party to appoint Abiola Ajimobi in Acting capacity.
