Ex-Ondo Governor Olumilua Dies At 80

The former governor of Old Ondo state in the third republic, Bamidele Olumilua is dead.

Olumilua was said to have died after a brief illness at around 3am today.

His son, Muyiwa Olumilua confirmed the news of his death.

“Yes, Baba died today around 3am,” he said.

“We thank God that he lived a good and worthy life and we are proud of his personality and achievements while alive. Burial arrangements will be announced later.”

According to Muyiwa, the burial arrangements would be announced later.
