Amaechi’s CSO Dies in Kaduna Hotel Bathroom

The Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, is in grief following the demise of his Chief Security Officer, Tony Iwelu, from electrocution.

Transport Ministry Head, Press and Public Relations, Mr Eric Ojiekwe, broke the sad news via a statement he released.

Ojiekwe said Iwelu, who hailed from Delta State died on Monday at the Stone Edge Hotel in Kaduna while making use of the bathroom during which he was killed by electric shock from the shower rose.

The deceased was on official assignment, and according to the statement, he left behind his widow and three children, the eldest being a fourteen-year-old.
