EFCC Raids Residences of Ambode, ex-Chief of Staff Over Alleged N9.9b Fraud

Operatives of the  Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have raided the home of the former governor of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode and his ex-Chief of Staff in Epe area of Lagos in connection with an N9.9 billion fraud.

The Acting Head of Media and Publicity of EFCC, Mr. Tony Orilade, confirmed the raids:

“Our men have been drafted to the residences of Ambode and his former Chief of Staff in Epe in respect of an investigation.

“They are there as I speak with you.”
