Nollywood Actor, Sanyeri to Study at Unibadan

Actor Olaniyi Afonja, with stage name, ‘Sanyeri’ has disclosed his intention to further his education, saying he is already putting final touches to effort to gaining admission into the University of Ibadan

The star Yoruba comedian who has limited formal education said his decision to have a go at schooling was spurred by his urge to improve his spoken English.

Many actors facing educational challenges have limitations in growing to the peak of their now very competitive career.

According to him: “I had little education when I was younger because I didn’t have the opportunity to go further. The little education I had is responsible for my poor use of English now.  However, when I go back to school, I will become so sound that people will be scared at my fluency in English,” he said.
