Late senator Isiaka Adeleke brother emerges as PDP candidate for Osun by-election

Senator Isiaka Adeleke has emerged as the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party for the July 8 Osun west senatorial by-election while senator Mudashiru Hussein also emerged as the candidate of the All progressives Congress while the younger brother of the late

Ademola Adeleke defected to the PDP hours to the primary election, where two other aspirants stepped down, making him the party flagbearer.

The two candidates will slug it out with Bade Falade, the candidate of the Makarfi-led PDP, who is contesting on the platform of Social Democratic Party.

The three candidates emerged at separate primaries election held in Ido-Osun Egbedore local government, and Iwo, the senatorial district headquarters.

The candidates of the two major political parties who emerged unopposed expressed confidence in winning the July the 8th Osun West senatorial by-election.
