Ajibola Ajimobi, daughter of governor of Oyo state, Abiola Ajimobi has described protesting students of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology(LAUTECH) as a “generation of mannerless children” .
Ajibola labeled the students as “Generation of Mannerless Children” on he Instagram page. “Generation of Mannerless children, they don’t respect their parents, how will they respect the Constitution” , the governor’s daughter said in apparent reaction to the students’ outburst on January 9..
LAUTECH students had on January 9 protested the continued closure of the university since June last year.
While addressing the protesting students, an angry Mr. Ajimobi told them to do their worst.
The aggrieved students had stormed his office to lament the closure of their school for eight months but the governor in his response said it was no big deal if school was closed for 8 months.
“Your school being locked for eight months is no big deal. Is your school the first to be locked, if this is how you will come to talk to me, go and do your worst, I dare you,” he said.
Apparently, the criticisms that followed the governor;s statement on social media must have led to Ajimobi to defend her father in the Instagram post.
The criticisms that followed suit must have annoyed Ajibola, who took to Instagram to defend her father.
