The Nigeria Football Federation has confirmed the appointment of a German, Gernot Rohr as new super eagles coach.
The federation announced that it has signed a two-year contract with Rohr following recommendation from its technical and development committee.
His ultimate task will be to qualify Nigeria for the 2018 world cup in Russia.
Rohr had previosuly coached Etoile du Sahel, led Etoile du Sahel, Niger Republic and Burkina Faso
