EFCC Arrests 3 FAAN Official Over 100 Million Scam

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission(EFCC) has arrested three officials of the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria(FAAN) for allegedly stealing N100 million.

The commission in a statement showed that the fraud was carried out over a period of three years by a level six officers of the Accounts Department , Christy Olabode , her younger rother who worked in the Commercial Department in Ilorin, Kwara State, Abdul –Shehu Obaze and an-IT officer at the FAAN headquarters in Lagos Dominic Ojo.

The suspects were arrested following a petition by anonymous alleging that some seniors officers diverted funds by using names of retired, dead and non FAAN staff into the payroll
