Ikorodu United Escape Death, Ready To Play Lobi After Accident

Nigeria Professional Football League club Ikorodu United have confirmed that no life was lost during Friday’s road accident involving  the team on their way to Makurdi to honour a league game against Lobi Stars, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.

The bus carrying the Oga Boys and their officials was involved in a road accident around 4pm.

Media Officer of the club, Babatunde Ayoola, disclosed to Completesportsnigeria.com that the players and their officials are in good condition following the road mishap.

“We didn’t have any casualty during the road accident and we give glory to the almighty God for that,” Ayoola said.
“The accident occurred around 4pm this afternoon when our team bus collided with a truck.

“All our  players and the  officials are in their hotel and we are all looking forward to the game against Lobi Stars on Sunday.”

Ikorodu United currently occupy the last position in the NPFL table.
