NUPENG, PENGASSAN Call Off Strike

Oil workers have called off their one day old strike after a meeting with the Minister of State for Petroleum, Dr. Ibe Kachichukwu.

The unions went on strike after misinterpretation of the re-organisation of the Nigerian National petroleum Corporation(NNPC) as unbundling.

Dr. Kachickwu assured the workers that there was no unbundling of NNPC, stressing that what was happening was a restructuring.
