Dasuki Absence Delays Trial

DasukiJustice of the federal high court, Abuja , Husseini Baba Ahmed on Thursday compelled the Minister of Justice and Attorney general of the federation to produce former national Security adviser, Sambo Dasuki court to answer the criminal charged brought against him by the Economic Financial and Crimes Commission(EFCC).

Justice Baba Ahmed delayed the trial for two hours because the accused was not in court. He insisted Dasuki be brought before him.

In no time, the former National Security Adviser, Dasuki was brought to the court in compliance with the order amid tight security.

However, the trial could not go on because of Dasuki counsel who had previously written to the court informing them of their absence due to another case before an election petition tribunal in Kogi state.

The court thereafter adjourned the case to Friday, January 22, 2016.
