Court to rule on Dasuki’s bail application Friday, ex NSA remains in EFCC’s custody

A High Court in Abuja presided over by Justice Sani Yusuf has adjourned the bail application filed before it by former National Security Adviser, NSA, Sambo Dasuki, alongside others who are standing trial over alleged money laundering and criminal breach of trust

The former NSA, alongside a former Director of Finance at the Office of the NSA, Shuaibu Salisu, and a former Group General Manager of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, Aminu Kura, and two firms, Acacia Holdings Limited and Reliance Reference Hospital, were on Monday arraigned before the High Court in Abuja on a 19-count charge by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.

Following their arraignment, the accused filed for bail but ruling on the bail application was adjourned by Justice Sani till Friday.
Consequently, Dasuki and the others that were arraigned with him are to remain in custody of the EFCC pending the determination of the bail application.
