Dasuki: DSS Grills Boni After Signing As Surety

The Department of State Services on Tuesday grilled former Governor of Adamawa State, Boni Haruna, after he signed as surety for former National Security Adviser, Col. Sambo Dasuki at the federal high court, Abuja.

According to a reliable source, Boni was immediately invited by DSS for questioning after fulfilling the requirements permitting the former NSA to travel abroad for medicals.

It cannot be immediately confirmed if the former governor has been released after the questioning or still detained in DSS custody.
Earlier on Tuesday, Justice Adeniyi Ademola presided Federal High Court granted the application of the former NSA to seek medical check up abroad.

Justice Ademola also said that the surety should be ready to take the position of the accused in case the former NSA refuses to appear to answer charges proffered against him .
