President Muhammed Buhari has admitted that the country is not developing infrastructure because of paucity of funds.
Responding to questions from Journalists in New Delhi, India, when asked on the economy, critics of his administration saying he is “Baba Go Slow” in addressing economic and infrastructure in a country yearning for development :
“Where is the money? Do you know, you must have known the FG had to help 27 states out of 36 states to pay salaries. Nigeria cannot pay salaries”. The FG itself had to summon CBN governor on how it could pay salaries. Not to talk of projects agreement we signed with other countries. The country is morally vandalized
On the questions of the polarization of the senate between PDP and APC over one of his nominees, apparently referring to former Rivers governor, Rotimi Amaechi, Buhari said,
“It was a team work. That i did not work into the Presidency alone. I have to depend on the other citizens of government from all parts of the country. We cant work outside the constitution.”
