Operatives of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have quizzed the daughter of the late President Umaru Yar’Adua, Mrs Zainab Dakingari, wife of former Kebbi State governor.
The commission had invited Dakingari over her alleged involvement in the Kebbi State fraud of N2 billion.
Mrs Dakingari was said to have arrived at the EFCC headquarters in Abuja at about 1pm and left after three hours.
She was told to report back Wednesday for continuation of her interrogation because she was still not feeling well.
The former Kebbi State first lady had visited the EFCC on July 22, but was released to go without interrogation on grounds of ill-health.
A reliable source at the EFCC said, “She arrived at the commission at about 1pm and left by 4pm. The last time she came on July 22, she was asked to go because she was not feeling too well. Even though she came today, the woman is still not feeling too well so she was again asked to go after three hours. She will come again tomorrow.”
