Osinbajo Commissions 1.5MT Dangote Cement Plant In Zambia

osinbajoVice President Yemi Osinbajo, who is in Zambia on a one-day official visit, is expected to commission a 1.5 million tonnes (MT) Dangote Cement plant and 30 megawatts (mw) coal-fired power plant in Ndola Tuesday.

Mr Laolu Akande, the Vice President’s media aide, noted in a statement that during the trip, Osinbajo “will meet with the Zambian President, Mr Edgar Chagwa Lungu, and also pay a courtesy visit to the Vice President Inonge Wina.

“Osinbajo will be participating (Tuesday) in the commissioning of the 1.5 million tonnes Dangote Cement Plant and 30 megawatts coal-fired power plant in Ndola, Zambia,” Akande said.

The Vice President will return to Abuja later in the day.
