NNPC Repairs Vandalised Arepo Pipeline

NNPCThe Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), says it has repaired the System 2B Pipeline which was vandalised on July 21 at Arepo, in Ogun.

Mr Ohi Alegbe, Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs Division, NNPC, in a statement in Abuja said the NNPC engineers deployed to the scene of the incident were able to access the pipeline after the fire was put out and the corpses of more than 101 victims burnt in the tragedy were removed, enabling them to begin the repairs immediately.
