Visa Unveils Emerging Transaction Technology Innovations

sule_lamidoVISA, the world’s foremost global payment technology and brand Evaluation Company, has unveiled more transaction innovations to improve its payment technology services to its customers.
Visa payment technology is a system that enables its users to engage in ther financial transactions with the Visa cards anywhere all over the world.

Tarugarira, Head, Visa Network Processing Sub-Saharan Africa, who said that Visa is in the forefront of innovation in terms of emerging technologies in the world, also noted that the company is already inventing technology systems where financial transactions would be done on the mobile phone devices without any stress.
Tarugarira spoke on Tuesday during his presentation at the company’s Visa Bloggers Engagement held at Protea Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos.

The event was aimed at sensitising stakeholders on the low-down on Visa’s innovations, which include, Visa Direct, Visa Checkout, Visa Net, among others.

While expatiating on some of the emerging innovations of Visa, Tarugarira said, “Visa is in the forefront of innovation when we are talking about all the emerging technologies in the world.

For instance, ‘Visa Chheckout’ is another emerging technology system, which is a seamless experience service that enables you to make a payment without having to go through the rigorous stress of producing some relevant data or information usually requested for at the point of transaction.

“’Visa Direct’ is also another innovation coming from Visa, which involves putting money into your account or into any other account directly instead of taking money from your account all the time. It is going to be safe, widely available and cost effective.

And the time frame for the transaction is as express as could be imagined, without any stress.
“Visa Net is another innovation, which puts electronic payment products into people’s hands and enables more places for use in domestic economies.

We are also doing a lot of works to expose our services to all locations where we render our service.
“Trust is a crucial part of our business. Without rust, our business wouldn’t get far. Since we have a great number of customers whose funds are entrusted in, and secured by our hands, we have competent and trusted hands, who are constantly on research works to curb the activities of fraudsters who may be attempting to perpetrate any evil on the transactions of our customers.”

The South Saharan Africa Visa boss also stressed that the company had taken the issue of reliability and dependability to its customers as a matter of utmost relevance in its operation.
On the Nigerian platform, he said the country is moving very fast in terms of technology way above quite a number of other countries in Africa.

He acknowledged some of the technological challenges bedevilling the operations of Visa transactions in the country, such as poor broadband system, but assured that the company would look at it and work to achieve a better result in that aspect.

Visa kicked off operation in 1958 with about 48, 000 financial institutions benefiting from its payment technology services all over the world.
